The property was clean and beautiful. We loved the design, furniture, and ocean view. The first day there was an issue with the water pressure but the property manager reached out to us in advance to let us know about the issue and had maintenance on site the very next day. The property manager was easy to contact and responsive when we had questions. During our stay, there were some workers replacing boards to the walkway going out to the beach. We also heard a little bit of construction taking place on other floors so it seems the owners work hard to maintain the property. I was a little disappointed that the pools were not heated so the water was a bit cold. I heard the motor to the heated pool was broken but I’m not sure because I did not bother complaining to the property manager. The location was excellent. I have trouble with my knees so it’s hard to walk on the beach if it is too steep. The beach behind emerald isle was perfect. It was a short walk to the beach (using the walkway) and the beach was a smooth slope. We were also close to many shops and restaurants. Some guests complained about having too many codes to access the property. You have a 6 digit code to enter the parking lot and the building. Then you have another code to enter your condo. I didn’t mind the codes but we had a little trouble when a car in front of us couldn’t remember their code to enter the parking lot. I think using a name would be easier for guests. Loved our stay though!
