It started with one…

Beach Bum BB began with owner Lila Davidson, the original inspiration behind the “BB” nickname given to her by her grandchildren. After becoming one of the first purchasers of a condominium at Portofino Island Resort, Lila settled on Pensacola Beach with plans to enjoy retirement. As it turned out, retirement would have to wait.

Lila discovered a new purpose: helping other beach lovers experience the beauty of the Gulf Coast without sacrificing the comfort, thoughtful details, and personal service of a luxury vacation.

What began with Lila’s love for Pensacola Beach soon grew into a locally owned, boutique vacation rental company. Stephanie joined Lila in 2014 and has since helped develop a dedicated team committed to creating memorable stays for families, couples, and friends. From thoughtfully chosen beautiful accommodations to attentive, personalized guest service, every detail is thoughtfully considered to make each vacation feel easy, comfortable, and special.

After securing an office location on Pensacola Beach, Lila and Stephanie quickly realized the space had the potential to become something more. From that idea, BB’s Boutique was created—a welcoming place where guests, visitors, and locals could discover unique items made by local artists and small businesses.

The goal of the boutique is to give visitors the opportunity to take a meaningful piece of Pensacola Beach home with them. Whether it is a locally made gift, a special keepsake, or a reminder of time spent with loved ones, Beach Bum BB believes vacations are about more than where you stay. They are about the memories you create, the moments you collect, and the feeling you carry with you long after leaving our little slice of paradise.
